Bandit
Watch Local Version
I worked on a short film titled Bandit, where I contributed to several shots, including adding muzzle flashes and debris. My main focus was a challenging night shot of a car with an LED light on top, where I composited 2D fire and smoke elements to make the car look like it was on fire. This involved adding glows and matching the grade to blend the elements naturally. The tracking was particularly difficult, requiring manual warping to replace the ground. Additionally, I had to rotoscope the foreground characters, adding glow effects and light wraps to ensure the fire illuminated them correctly.
